The day in between is part of the method

Day one is introductory. Day two is practical roadmap. The gap is deliberate. You go back to your desk in between and, for the first time, look at your own backlog and your own week through what you learned on day one. People come back to day two with things they noticed, and the roadmap they build is better for it.


Two consecutive days would mean building your roadmap while still digesting the first day. Splitting them costs you nothing extra and gives the plan some more depth.
